I don't know about your baby, but mine plays hard, loves water, mud, and dirt. We made it through with the first fabric collar for a year before it was worn and stained. Which we still use for those messy play days. But on those off occasions when you do not plan, this collar is the best! Water resistance, mud washes right off with no staining, and no odor needing to be washed away. I only wish there was a way to have his name on collar vs. buckle, because it is easier to see and an eyecatcher. Which just meant I still had to purchase another fabric collar for those special occasions.
